good news! my 5d and all five lenses are on their way back to me and should be delivered tomorrow. i haven’t been shooting as much as i should have in its/their absence, but i did manage to take a short detour to the cemetery by my house just before sunset. the poor “other” 450d (meaning the regular one, not my ir body) is only around in the event that the 5d has an issue or gets performance anxiety. or, more likely, i drop it. again. at least the 450d had a chance to see the outside world for a few minutes. i’ll have to make a point of using it now and then to keep it from getting any ideas that involve pushing its sibling, the “favorite”, down a flight of stairs.
thanks to mr youngblood’s tireless help, the store is finished. i also put up an about page and a contact page of sorts, but i haven’t added the navigation to the blog yet. i’d like to get a few items set up before i make it public rather than rendering the entire addition moot with an empty store. i plan to have it up sometime this weekend, but you know how that goes…
oh! in submission to your suggestions (or demands, depending on who it came from), i’ve set the thumbnails to enlarge when clicked so you no longer have to click the “read more” link to see the full photos. you still can, of course, and that’s where you have to go to comment, but this will make it easier to look around.
